Get those Soft Feathery Heels : Vedic Line Soft Heel Cream Review

I admit I don't pay attention to my feet at all - they are the most neglected part of my body - They bear the burnt of daily train travelling where "N" number of people stomp over my foot - Yups the trauma of travelling in locals during peak hours.

Although I don't suffer from cracked heels - Yet ! but I do have very dry skin hence my feet and specially heels appear dry and cracky most of the times. My mom suffers from cracked heels - Big Time !! So after testing this product for a week on my feet, I donated this cream to my mom who regularly applies it every night. Lets see how it fared --
About Vedic line:
Vedic Line has optimum combination of Ayurvedic wisdom & modern scientific research. It uses most advanced active & natural ingredients for the best yet safest results. One can enjoy visibly healthier skin & hair initially & significant improvement overtime.

Product: Vedic Line Soft Heels Cream
Price & Quantity : 125 INR for 65 ml.

What the company claims :
It stimulates blood circulation, repairs cracked heels. It also helps in removing dryness and hardness.Visible results in4-6 days.

Directions to use :
Apply gently on clean heels and feet.Massage till it get absorbed.

Ingredients :
Water, Extract of Amla,  Tomato, Mango, Tamarind, Glycerine, Bees wax, Neem oil, Clove oil and Menthol.

First Look At the Product:
The product comes in a  blue plastic tub like packaging with a screw cap lid. Inside is white colored cream which is neither runny nor too thick in consistency.

My Experience with the Product :

The first thing I noticed when I opened up the tub was the smell of the product - the cream chiefly smells of neem and clove .. M not a big fan of this smell but it is not that bothersome and doesnt tend to linger on for long which is fine for me.

I have applied this cream regularly every night before going to bed. A coined size amount of cream is sufficient for both the feet. The cream spreads easily over the skin and gets soaked in within few minutes.

Still flaunting " Cherry Red" Shade from Lotus Herbals on my toes !!  :D
Regular use of this cream definitely worked on my feet - it moisturized them efficiently and also made my heels soft and smooth.

I have used this cream after short pedicure sessions at home - the cream gives good results and keeps feet soft and supple throughout the day.

My mom still uses this cream on daily basis - It has definitely showed results and has filled up her cracked heels. My feet are back to normal state now coz I have stopped applying this cream daily - Guess it's time to start again.

Love it or Chuck it ?
Love it !!  I will recommend this cream to anyone who is suffering from dry or cracked heels. This cream will definitely show results in a week's time.

Please Note: The product was sent by the company's PR for consideration.

The Kate Dress from Sheinside.com

This is how I would style it:

You are probably wondering why I am just taking pictures of a dress instead of wearing it. Well I was gifted this gorgeous dress from sheinside.com and unfortunately it did not fit. It didn't even zip up in the back (haha). I felt so bad and they were so kind enough to let me choose something else (which I will feature later) and have me just take pictures of the dress.

The dress above is in size medium and the biggest problem I had was with the chest area. I am a size D cup and the large also would not fit (according to their size chart). So those who are about the same size as me or larger (I am size 6, d cup) probably could not wear this dress. :( But for the skinnier girls out there this dress would be perfect for you!

I named it the Kate Dress because this dress is very similar to the dress Kate Middleton wore last year and sold out instantly when she wore it. Even though I could not zip it up all the way it is very flattering for those who have curves. It emphasizes them in a good way! I am 5'8" and it landed just above the knee. Also the material is soft and very durable. The quality is exceptional and would believe it would last a long time.

The last picture above is how I would style it. I would keep it simple as the dress itself is classic. Pair it with a gold necklace, bracelet and rings if you choose. Finally, pair the dress with a gorgeous pair of pumps. I chose dark red because it's something different than the usual black.

Also Sheinside is giving all my readers (that's you!) 20% off any thing on the website. Just use code: HEI20 at checkout. It expires April 30th.

You can also purchase the dress, HERE.

Happy shopping! :)

Always, Heidi

Please Note: I am being sponsored by Sheinside.com. I was given this dress for free to review. However, this does not change my opinion and I am honest 100%! :)

Polyvore Outfit of the Week - Modest at the Beach

Modest at the Beach

Being modest at the beach can be hard when you go to the store and find tons of bikini's and not very many cute one-pieces. I am not a bikini person and feel naked when I wear them. Plus I don't have quite the figure to pull it off (haha). I think also you can be quite sexy in a one piece if you wear the right one. The one above is from JCrew and it's for $127. That is a little expensive but I firmly believe that investing in swimwear is the way to go. The swimsuit above is great for those who are concerned about their tummy area (like me). It will slim your figure and make you look thinner- now who would not complain about that! I also love the color, so refreshing from the traditional colors.
To top of the look you can always wear a cover up or a sarong like the one above. Sarongs are great for those who don't like their thighs or want to show off their arms and chest. Don't forget to wear your hat, sunglasses and sunscreen!!

What do you wear to the beach?

To Have and To Hold - A Bridal Collection at Ruche

When I saw this lookbook I was so excited and thrilled. As many of you know I am getting married this summer and this provides so much inspiration. Even though my wedding theme isn't vintage this can provide great inspiration for those who are doing a vintage wedding or just inspiration in general. I am actually of thinking getting one of the clutches above as I still need to get one. They are so gorgeous and unique. There are also many great dress options for both the wedding party and the bride. Some of the wedding dresses are great for informal or garden weddings. I adore their wedding collection, a job well done!

My Experience with the Products -
  • Face Illuminizer  --

This product is my favorite - It comes as a finely milled powder in a screw cap jar. When I inspected the powder for the first time I thought - This is like any other mineral foundation. I remember using this powder on my friend on her engagement day and It worked amazingly !! The product works best as a setting powder. I set the liquid foundation with this powder which gave best results. The powder sets into the skin to give that natural glowy skin look - It is not "glittery" in the sense that the product adds a radiance and soft look to your skin Without adding glitter. The product does not give that shimmery look like highlighters give but a subtle natural glow look upon application. The powder is very finely milled hence one has to be carefully while handling the product - I have lost quite a bit of the powder which flew off because of the wind.

Swatch

Blended the Powder  - Can you notice the subtle glow ??

All in all this product is a must for all the brides who desire to get that natural glow look on their face during their wedding rituals and during their honeymoon trip. The product is free from irritants, animal by products, dyes or preservatives making it very skin friendly.

  • Mineral Blush --

Swatch

The mineral blush comes in a small screw cap jar. The color of the blush will suit any Indian Skin tone. It is a deep shade of red. Again this shade will work the best for any festive seasons - It will look gorgeous on Indian Brides. The blush is quite build-able , apply it lightly over your cheekbones everyday to give that soft warm rosy glow on your cheeks or you can build up the shade to give a shimmery deep rose color. The shimmer in the blush is definitely noticeable - When the lights hit the face - the blush will appear as a pearlescent color on your cheeks - Again Perfect for Indian weddings.

    • Mineral Bronzer --

This is the product if you are looking for a frosty shimmery glow on your face. This mineral bronzer is perfect for warm skin toned girls looking to achieve that sun kissed look. Again the shade is build-able.  This bronzer can double up as a highlighter and also for contouring purposes.

    • Lip Glaze --

    Swatch

Bordeaux shade is deep maroon with red micro glitters in it. I thought - Here comes a shade which I will never be able to wear but I was proved wrong.  The lip glaze finishes off smooth and gave slight color on my lips with a glossy finish. The color really complements me and I also liked the staying power of the gloss - it lasted me for good three hours which is quite okay. It is not sticky as other lip glosses which I love and also has no odor or taste.

Love it or Chuck it ?
Definitely Love it !! Although availability is the issue .. These products are worth trying out once to experience that nude natural radiant look.

Please note:The products were sent by the company's PR for consideration.

Fashion Around the World Series: Denmark

    Designer Eksempel

Very unique, gorgeous designs. Many of them are very wearable as well.

    Stine Goya Konfetti Collection

Loving the dress on the left and the cardigan on the right looks so cozy!

    Copenhagen Fashion Week

The color of the dress screams summer and would be perfect as a cocktail dress.

    Copenhagen Fashion Week

This gown is stunning. Wear a dress like this to your next Holiday party.

    Street Fashion- Helena Christensen

Such a classic outfit. I am loving her sweater!

    More Street Fashion in Copenhagen

This look is timeless and chic. She looks absolutely stunning here. If only I could do my hair like this!

This dress is so unique and very sexy. I want those shoes!

Are these girls not adorable? I am loving their retro looks.

This week's fashion around the world series is on Denmark. Denmark has somewhat of a dark, mysterious style but done gorgeously. They definitely have a unique sense of style and sure know how to dress warm in the cold weather. You should definitely take inspiration from Denmark. ;)

One fashion blogger that I know that lives in Denmark is Emile Delance from Delance Fashion. You can also join her community, HERE. She has such a fabulous sense of style and her community is well designed and has such friendly members.

    Celebrity Fashion Weekly Edition

This week's celebrity fashion edition will be on model, Kate Moss!

How to copy this look all for under $100!:
Blazer: Single Button Boyfriend Blazer for $22.80 at Forever21
Dress: Sweetheart Metallic Sweaterdress for $29.99 at Victoria's Secret
Shoes: Worthington Bailey Pointy Toe Patent Pumps for $35 at JcPenny

    Total Cost: $87.79!

Kate looks gorgeous here. The outfit is sophisticated, elegant and chic. This outfit would be perfect for a resort vacation, or on a date this upcoming summer. I think silver looks best with snakeskin but keep it minimal as the print is loud enough. If you want to be more bold, pair the dress with a colored blazer like green or blue.

Diane Von Furstenberg Fall 2012 RTW Collection

This dress is simple and chic. Perfect for a night out.

A great outfit for the office. Just make sure to wear open toe shoes like the one's shown here so you are not covered head to toe in clothing.

Another great outfit for work. I am loving the blazer!

This outfit reminds me of salsa dancing for some reason. Wear red when you want to be noticed!

Color blocking done at its best. I adore the skirt!

    Another great color blocking outfit.

Such a breezy, sexy dress. This dress was made for the beach or a beach getaway.

Wear this to your next hot date. You sure will be noticed! Oh how I envy the girl's who can wear a neckline like this.

Diane Von Furstenberg is one of my favorite designers and she never disappoints. She created a gorgeous collection this fall. I am happy that she introduced lots of color into her fall collection instead of all blacks, greys and browns. Especially since now I moved to Florida I am drawn to bright colors. She also did a good job in creating different looks. There were professional outfits to sexy date night looks. Very versatile and I love that in a collection. Her accessories are gorgeous as well and make a statement all on their own. I am loving the blue clutch in the last picture. This is a collection not to be missed!

Kate Moss for Vogue April 2012

This editorial is simply stunning. I am loving the artistic look to it as well. So creative and different from what I have seen so far this season. I am very impressed, and as always Vogue has some of the best editorials. I almost didn't recognize Kate Moss as well as she looks so different here! Though she looks amazingly beautiful as she always does. The black and white photographs give off a Old Hollywood glamor look. The background is also so gorgeous, I wonder where they photographed this!
So far this has to be one of my most favorite editorials of 2012!

What do you of this editorial?
