Wants and Desires of the Moment

ASOS Chiffon Maxi Dress with Lace Detailing in Floral Print for $86

This dress is super adorable. I love that it is short in the front and long in the back. There is sheer detailing at the back from the knee down making it a little sexy. The price is a little expensive but I think well worth it.

ASOS tridant leather and wood platform shoe boot for $207

Who is even thinking of wearing shoes like these in the heat? It isn't even half way through summer! However, I am just smitten over these booties. These would look fantastic in the fall with a pair of skinny jeans!

River Island Tooled Satchel for $120.67

You all know I love a little western/country flair. This handbag offers just that and is gorgeous!

Love and Liberty 4 Thais Printed Dress for $298- Free People

I love the print of this dress and how romantic and sweet this dress is too. I could see myself running in a field of flowers with this dress. So cute!

Lace me up print romper for $108- Free People

I have a love, hate relationship with rompers. Some of them are cute, some of them just need to go. Also only a couple look good on me, ones particularly with more of a waist. Like the one above. The print of the romper is my favorite part.

Studio Taupe Suede Lattice Front Laceup Wedges for $140- Top Shop

I am not too big fan of wedges as I think they make my legs look chunky (haha). However, I love the cutout lattice work detailing in the wedge. And I always love the nude colored shoe look!

Botanic Ruffle Dress by Love for $72- Top Shop

This would be perfect for the beach or park! I love the print and the ruffle detailing is just adorable.

Flighty feather hair pin in Brown for $15- Threadsence

I have been eying these for the longest time, I should just buy them. Ever since I saw celebrities wear feathers in their hair I instantly wanted to try it. This is a hair pin which makes it much easier to put it in and no need to keep them in for longer than a day.

So these items are on my wish list at the moment!

What is on your wish list right now?

Outfit of the Day: Feeling Tropical

Outfit of the Day:
Dress and Bracelets: Forever21
Hat: Payless
Sunglasses: WetSeal
Belt: From another dress I own
Sandals: Wal-Mart

I got this dress in the mail today and as soon as I put it on I feel in love with it! You can't beat the price too, only $15.80! I also just adore this floppy hat I got for the summer. I bought it with a pair of tennis shoes during the bogo sale, love their bogo sales! My boyfriend came up with the idea of throwing the hat in the 5th picture, it came out so well.

Also I have never worn a strapless top or dress in my life. I have never found a strapless bra that would support my chest and before my weight loss I never felt "good" in a strapless clothing item. I finally found the strapless bra that works for me! It is the Victoria's Secret PINK multi-way bra. It is amazing everyone. I have a D cup and it supports them really well. It also doesn't squish them as I found with most strapless bras. It gives them lift with cleavage. I just need to go out now and buy one in every color, haha!

Hope you all had a fabulous weekend!

Tvam Face Packs - from Beautee Naturelle.

Hi all , once again today I will be reviewing two face packs i got from Beautee Naturelle. These face pack belong to the brand "TVAM" and so far i am loving it.

Face Packs should be an integral part of skin care regimen as it has many benefits. Face packs helps in removing dead cells of skin and in toning up the skin....when used properly it conditions and tightens the skin. They work great to draw toxins and impurities out of your skin. There are different face packs available for each of the skin types.

Today I will be reviewing two face packs i used from Tvam Brand - Mint Face Pack and Almond Face Pack.

My Skin Type : Combination to oily skin.

Product: Tvam Mint Face Pack.
Price: 330 Rupees.
Quantity: 150 gms

About the Product:
Mint, a natural antiseptic, helps heal eruptions like pimples or blackheads on the face and body. It also restores your skin's natural oil balance and stops scaling.

My take on the Product:
I have combination to oily skin so this face pack is so very apt for my skin. I am also troubled with acne so i am extra careful in choosing which products will touch my face.
This face pack is light brown in color and consist of very fine minute granulated powder.
The first time I used this product I was smitten with its aroma. The smell of the product takes back to your childhood when we use to buy 2 rupees worth peppermint candies from the shop.

I mix the face pack powder with Gulabari Rose water and sometimes with Tvam's Toner. The result is the same it gives your face an extra glow afterwards.
The face pack is true to its claim of preventing acne. It also keeps my skin oil free for few hours.
All in all It is an excellent face pack for us oilies.

Love it or chuck it ?
Love it ! Absolutely a must for oily skin people. I am definitely going to order this one once my face pack is finished.

Product: Tvam Almond Face Pack.

Price: 330 Rupees

Quantity: 150g

About the Product:
Packed with the moisturizing power of almonds for that little extra every dry skin needs. Orange for a shot of Vitamin C, Neem and its antibacterial properties, Tulsi, Indian Barberry or Tree Turmeric come together in a jar to boost moisture and give you that enviable glow.

My Take on the Product:

This face pack will be best for dry-skinned people. Nevertheless I did use it for sometime.
It is light yellow in color and the smells mostly of almonds. I like the tightening effect of the face pack. It didnt however work on me that well since my t-zone started getting oily after a bit.
I used with face pack by mixing the finely gridded powder with Tvam's toner and It did bring a glow on my face.
Overall - This is best suited for people with dry skin. I ll give this face pack to my sister since she has dry skin type.

Love it or chuck it ?
I will pass this one and stick to the Mint Face Pack !

Christian Louboutin Fall 2011 Lookbook

I am very impressed with Louboutin's fall 2011 lookbook. It is very artistic, dramatic, dark and quite unique. I have never seen anyone do a lookbook like this. I especially love it because every picture looks like it was painted in the past and uses historical detailing. I really like how all the models in the paintings look relaxed and casual without really noticing that they are holding a pair of shoes or accessory. All these pictures are painted too, making it look vintage and authentic. I really like the feel of the paintings.

What do you think of Louboutin's fall lookbook?

Chloe Resort 2012 Collection

This dress is simply amazing! I love how flowy and gorgeous this is. You will definitely draw some attention wearing this.

I am loving the all neutral look with the pop of pink in the handbag.

Another great all pink look with a pop of camel in the jacket. The jacket is gorgeous!

Simply stunning. The shade of green will look great on many skin tones, especially brunettes.

Not a big fan of the shoes but the jacket is great for those rainy days in spring.

I have always wanted a raspberry colored coat! Something about it is chic and classy.

Love how delicate and feminine this dress is.

Free flowing dress, you will twirl with this dress and feel like a goddess.

The shape of this dress is very ladylike and the nude color is simply chic.

This dress would look great on anyone who wants to create curves. The detailing is amazing!

Chole brings back the 70s again for the Resort 2012 collection. Which I am quite happy about. Wide leg pants and maxi dresses were prominent in this collection. As well as jackets and of course their famous shoes and handbags. I am loving all the colors, free flowing fabrics, and patterns in the collection. It is refreshing, chic and gorgeous.

What do you think of Chloe's Resort 2012 collection?

Nourish - Bath and Body --My Take on Products from Beaute Naturelle

A few days earlier i had posted about a site that I came across - Beaute Naturelle. It is an Internet boutique which offers wonderful totally natural and organic beauty and personal care products. You can read my article
HERE

I had a chat with Meg on the phone and it was very nice talking to her personally. She told me a lot about her site as well as her passion for photography. It was lovely talking to her and I am glad to be given an opportunity to review some of the products her site has to offer here.

Meg had beautifully packed all the products and had it courier to me .. I loved the way she had labelled all the products so wonderfully and I was touched to read hand written letter she wrote ... somehow letters really impress me .. handwritten letters have an all together different charm to it.. which email ll never have :(
Dont we all luv a personal touch !! <3

So - Basically her site sells five brands -
  • Tvam:Naturally yours
  • Nourish Body and Bath
  • Last Forest Enterprises
  • Ruby's Herbals
  • Divine.
In this post I will be doing a quick review on products -

Madras Coffee Madness Body Scrub - from "Nourish Body and Bath"

About the product:
This amazing sugar and coffee-based body scrub completely smooths out rough spots like knees, heels and elbows. Worried you might smell like coffee? Don't! The coffee scent serves as a wonderful wake-up call to your senses as you open the jar. The essential oils in the scrub leave your skin so unbelievably soft; you can skip the lotion.

Price : 350 Rupees.

My Experience with the product:
This product had spilled out of the container a bit when it reached me :( . First look at the product and I saw the granules are coarse and big so certainly cannot use it on the face. It has small sugar granules too and also a bit of oil to moisturize the skin. It has strong smell of coffee - so people who love coffee - this is for you because the smell instantly wakes you up. The product does an excellent job at scrubbing away the dead cells. It works best on my feet.  :)

Lavender Vanilla Lotion - From " Nourish Body and Bath"

About the product:
The clean, classic fragrance of lavender and the uplifting notes of vanilla. Mmmm. Transcendental! A lotion that reminds you of meadows and mists and mellow evenings. Lavender is believed to promote cell regeneration and reduce stress. A must-buy!

Price: 345 Rupees

My Experience with the product:

This is a wonderful lotion. I love the smell - it is mainly smelling of vanilla. The smell lingers on 2- 3 hours easily. It keeps my skin moisturized throughout the day.The consistency is just perfect and the lotion gets absorbed easily into the skin. It is totally non- greasy which is Perfect !!  Overall it is perfect for all skin types.

So this is it for today girls - Next post I will be reviewing more products from this site.  :)
Meanwhile you can check out this wonderful site HERE
