Dolce and Gabbana Spring 2012 RTW Collection

Dolce and Gabbana's spring collection caught my eye because of the patterns the designer used. He used vegetables as patterns! Yes you heard right, vegetables. Who knew that vegetables could look so fashionable? I am very impressed that it was executed so well. I think it is quite unique and sets them apart from all the other collections. Dolce and Gabbana didn't just feature vegetable patterned clothing but they also featured sleek black dresses such as the last one featured. So classy and elegant. Would look great on any figure.

What do you think of Dolce and Gabbana's spring collection? I love it!

Fashion Around the World Series: Scotland

Singer Louise Linton

Isn't her coat just fabulous? So gorgeous!

Scotland Fashion Week

You can't forget to mention plaid when discussing fashion in Scotland!

Scotland Fashion Week

This is such an elegant and sophisticated look. I love that jacket!

Designer Pringle of Scotland

Never heard of this designer before but some of her pieces are quite gorgeous and well designed. The dress on the far right is my favorite!

Scotland Street Fashion

Such a simple chic outfit. Perfect for the outfit and drinks!

Designer Judy Clark

She looks so gorgeous here and it looks like fashionable hats are migrating to them from the UK below.

And you can't forget the Kilt! Quite handsome here.

Weddings in Scotland

Isn't this so sweet? And who wouldn't want to get married right by a castle? I love her faux fur detailing on her dress and fur hat. :)

Another wedding shot

This is so darling! I adore how she wore a plaid shawl that matches her husband's kilt.

This week's fashion around the world series is on Scotland. I almost completely forgot about Scotland when I was reviewing the UK. I don't know how because Scotland is on my top 5 countries to see and visit! It is so beautiful there and rich in history. As you all know I love history so a place with castles and historical places are on my top place to visit.
Fashion in Scotland is so unique. Scotland is famous for their plaid fashion and The Kilt. Everyone looks so chic and fabulous. Right on trend with adding a little bit of their own unique traditional fashion.

What do you think of fashion in Scotland?

Hairstyles for Everyday

Short Hairstyles

Keira Knightley

Katie Holmes

Short hairstyles are not for the faint at heart. Short hairstyles are for those who are bold and daring. They want to show off their facial features. They are not shy! If you are considering going short, consider your face shape. If you don't want to take the leap and just do it, visit a wig store and try on a short hairstyle wig. See yourself and see if that is something that you would like to do to your hair. Because once you chop it off there is no going back! Also short hairstyles are one of the styles that require the most upkeep. You need to go get a trim once a month at least. Can you afford that and keep up with that?

Regardless these ladies look chic and sophisticated in these hairstyles!

Medium Hairstyles

Jessica Alba

Kate Winslet

Medium hairstyles mean just that, the happy medium. Not too short and not too long. Medium hairstyles look great on round faces, especially Kate Winslet's. It will elongate the face and appear more angular. Also Medium hairstyles do take a little maintenance and getting a trim once to once every two months is a must. Also medium hairstyles will not take that long to take care of in the morning. Though if you have straight hair you might have to do some extra work to get volume in the hair (so its not so flat against the head!). Those who have really straight and lifeless hair, medium hairstyles will give their hair a little boost or volume that is. The longer the hair the more it pulls it down.

Long Hairstyles

Kate Winslet

Kate Beckinsale

Long hairstyles are the easiest and don't take a lot of effort to keep up. I have long hair and I get a trim about every 4 months (I know I should do it more). However, it does take a lot of maintenance such as more drying time and styling time. I spend about 10 minutes drying my hair. Luckily I have straight hair so all I have to do is brush my hair and go. However, for those who have curly hair consider if you are ready to do your hair for more than 15 minutes in the morning. Long hairstyles also look great on just about anybody except really petite women. Long hair will overwhelm them. Tall ladies can carry long hair the best (lucky us!).

Wedding Hairstyles

Perfect for formal and informal weddings!

Perfect for the beach!

These two hairsyles are perfect for weddings. I like the effortless hairstyles for weddings. Simply because I don't want a big fancy wedding and any of these would be perfect for informal weddings. I love the second one- so gorgeous! Would work perfectly for low back wedding dresses.

GHD USA has come out with this gorgeous kit for the holidays! Perfect for creating all these looks!! Picture below:

These tools will help you create the perfect hairstyle. You can even create gorgeous curls with the straight iron! Yes, you can! It is quite simple. There are many tutorials online for you to learn how to curl with a straight iron. The perfect 2 in 1 tool! Even if you have really straight hair like I do a straight iron does come in handy at times. Especially when you want to create that sleek, shiny hairstyle. Also I love the red storage case. So darling, perfect for the holiday's! It could even double as a clutch for the evening.

What hairstyle do you prefer, short, medium or long? I prefer long although I have gone medium once.

Always,

Note- I am being compensated for this post. However, that does not change my opinion! I am completely honest!

Outfit of the Day: Black and Gold

Outfit Details:

Blazer: Worthington- JcPenny
Top: StyleMint
Shorts: Old Navy
Boots: ASOS
Necklace: Forever21

I felt like wearing all black today. We went out to get some Christmas decorations and just pretty much been relaxing all day. I thought I would wear a red lip and add a touch of gold to the all black outfit to add some interest. I love this lipstick, it is by Cover Girl Lip Perfection in the shade Everlasting. It is the perfect red for my skin tone. Also I received this StyleMint tee on a giveaway from a fellow blogger. I am actually not really impressed with the line. To me I can buy the same quality tee shirt for $10 at Forever21. Also it is sheer and a little too short in length and I have a short torso! It is quite soft however and goes with just about anything.

What did you all wear this weekend? Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

Rouge Bunny Rouge Brings "A Cappella" Look.

One of the most timeless make-up trends is the pure nude look displaying femininity and unadulterated naturalness. “A Cappella” brings together Yulia and Alina to show appealing softness and freshness in
combination with a warm glow, naturally flushed cheeks and a slight shimmer highlight on the lips for
an ultra polished nude look. Delicate neutrals appear barely visible as a hint of cheek colour to underline
the healthy look and on the eyes to add more vibrancy. It is a polished day-look, perfect during summer
season, and also when you prefer light products and a soft make-up.

“A Cappella” is characterised by two basic elements which are absolutely essential for such a flawless look:
mattified skin and covered imperfections. The essence of the look is to create a very soft make-up for which only perfecting products are important.

Our make-up artists used only our two concealer pens and a primer to achieve“A Cappella”; foundations and powders are not necessarily a must.
