Maybelline Lash Stiletto Mascara in Waterproof

I have re-purchased this mascara probably three times and it is still my favorite. I have long lashes but they are straight and consist of no volume. This mascara brings out my long lashes while giving them a boost in volume. It also lasts all day- a plus!

Wet and Wild Eyeshadow Trio in Silent Treatment

I purchased this trio a few months ago and it broke. I recently bought it again and have been using it almost everyday. I love using the bottom color with a deep purple in the crease to create a everyday purple eye look. The colors also last day if you use an eyeshadow primer.

From left to right: Revlon Lipstick in Wild Orchid, Cover Girl Lip Perfection Lipstick in Embrace

I bought these two lipsticks last weekend and been wearing them since. I love the color on the right, especially for summer. I usually wear a neutral eye, so these lipstick colors are perfect to combine with that. I have multiple shades of the Cover Girl Lip Perfection and it is one of my favorite brands of lipstick. It gives off a creamy sheen look but not too shiny. And it really does moisturize the lips! Also, you can't beat the price ($5)!

Favorite perfume of the moment

Back in my first two years of college (2005-2007) I collected perfumes and have about 20 or so now. I don't use them as often as I use to now. When I worked at FTD I wasn't allowed to wear perfume due to call center rules. Now I can wear them again and this has been my favorite of the moment. My mother purchased this for me two Christmas' ago. It is a sweet floral, fresh scent that reminds me of the ocean. My fiancee also loves it.

If you didn't read on Facebook, I announced that I was introducing a new post/edition on my blog. I have decided to do a monthly (maybe bi-weekly) post on my current beauty favorites. I don't really purchase a lot of makeup and pretty much stick to the same products day in and day out, but I do adventure into buying new products every now and then. I thought it would be a fun and something new to bring to my blog.
It's always refreshing to do something new!

Polyvore Outfit of the Week: A Tank Top Three Different Ways

Tank Top 3 Different Ways

Have you ever looked into your wardrobe, saw those casual tank tops and thought that you could only wear it on the weekend? Well that is not true! There is so many ways that you can wear that simple tank top. I have shown an example above. Many of us have a simple striped top in our wardrobe. From left to right, a casual weekend outfit, a night out on town and finally a day at the office. During the summer show off the nautical trend by wearing white skinny jeans and wedges. Be a little patriotic at work (wear this on or before 4th of July at the office!) and wear a white pencil skirt, red blazer and a striped top. Even if you don't live in the US, this would still be an adorable look.
I have put the same black heels twice so that all you have to carry is your black skinny pants and a clutch in your bag for the evening. So easy to transfer into!
Also, the tank top above is quite a steal at only $13 from H&M! The white skinny jeans are only $65 at Miss Selfridge! And those adorable starfish earrings are from Target and only $15. Also you can pick up the wedges on sale for $50 at ALDO.

How do you wear your basic tank top?

ASOS Lottie Leather Ballet Flats for $34.79 at ASOS

This is such a adorable dress and perfect for a garden wedding. Wear anything with bright colors and florals. Wear flats because many garden weddings are on the grass or gravel which makes it hard to walk in heels.

SM Womens Alsen Pump  for $60 at DSW

Formal weddings call for elaborate or formal dresses. Pick dresses made out of satin or chiffon. Dress it up with heels and jewelry. This one above is gorgeous and perfect for almost any body shape. This one would look fabulous on hourglass shapes!

Wedding season is here and if you are a guest at a wedding you need an outfit. The one's I have featured above are perfect. You don't have to spend a lot to look fabulous as I have shown. Just take the time to look and shop! Just remember to not overshine the bride and don't wear white! ;)

Celebrity Fashion Weekly Edition

This week's celebrity fashion edition is on Revenge Star Ashley Madekwe!

celebrity fashion 82 celebrity outfit 64

How to copy this look for all under $100:
Skirt: Cheap Monday Brooke Skirt for $38 at Farfetch
Tank Top: Essential Racerback Tank for $4.80 at Forever21
Handbag: Cross Body Satchel for $34 at Sway Chic
Belt: Triple Ring Skinny Belt for $9.99 at ArdenB

Ashley looks chic and ready for summer. I am loving her skirt and how she added the orange handbag for a pop of color. Many are hesitant to wear stripes on the bottom half of their body. If you are curvy, wear a smaller striped skirt. If you need help in the curve department, wear a thicker striped skirt. Always look for an A-line skirt, as it is the most flattering.
To spice this up for the evening just add some jewelry, a pair of heels and a bright colored clutch!

You can not see what shoes she is wearing but here are some ideas:

pink heels

Steve Madden Intrude Pumps for $89.99 at Dillard's

This would be a fun color to match with the outfit. Plus it would also look great with the handbag!

teal heels

SM Women's Raissa Pump (comes in teal, black and purple!) for $74.94 at DSW

This teal color would look stunning with the outfit. It also comes in different colors and any of them would work as well.

black spikey heels

Luinchiny Fanta See Heels for $45.99 at 6PM

These heels would be perfect for an evening out! Love the studded details.

This is such a stunning editorial. Vogue Japan never ceases to amaze me on their editorials. It seem they always want to portray a certain theme in their editorials and they do it so well. I am getting a Spanish vibe from the photos. So glamorous and sexy. The model's makeup as well is done amazingly. I am not a big fan of thick, big eyebrows but it fits the editorial perfectly. I also want to know what lipstick they used, it's such a gorgeous shade of red!

Outfit of the Day: A Fairy Like Dress

Outfit Details:
Shoes: Ebay
Bracelets: Forever21
Watch: Macy's

When I saw this dress on sheinside.com I thought it looked gorgeous and so fun for summer. When I received it, I absolutely loved it! It's a gorgeous color and fit perfectly. Also, its very lightweight and perfect for the hot weather. The only problem. It barely covers my butt (haha). You know how I am with that issue. I never had to be so careful taking pictures so that I would not expose myself (lol). I think that when I wear it again I need to find a neutral slip or skirt to place underneath. Any tips on adding length to a dress like this one, for a person who has no sewing skills?
For reference I purchased this in size Medium and I am a size 6. And I was saying before, if you are tall like me (5'8"), the front will barely cover your butt but if you are petite it will be the perfect length on you!

You can purchase the dress, HERE.

Also, I need your opinion! I am thinking about dying my hair red for the wedding (and of course keep it thereafter). I use to be a red head in high school and I loved it when my hair was red. What shade of red do you all think I should get? I am thinking a darker auburn color. :)

Hope you are all having a wonderful week!

Note: I did receive this dress for free. I am a collaborator with sheinside. As you all know that doesn't change my opionion and I am 100% honest! :)

A wedding in Rome.

I am so excited to present this blog post for all of you. Italy is such a gorgeous country and one of the top countries I want to see. There is so much history and places to see. And Italy is the number one fashion destination. Walking down the street you will see many women dressed up to the nines. They show off their own style so well. It is such great inspiration. It makes me want to dress up everyday. :)
