2012 Hairstyle Trends

Glistening and slick back hair. I love how effortless and sexy this hairstyle is. Looks like you just walked out of the shower and did nothing too it.

Anything Poinytails. I have to admit I am not good with poinytails. I have fine hair but a lot of it. By the middle of the day the poinytail has drooped down to the nape of my neck. Quite annoying! However, I do love the hairstyle she is sporting. Sleek and chic.

Urban Wave. Tousled wave are always in. Men always love this hairstyle, effortless bed like hair. My secret is curling my hair the day before and then the next day I still have a little wave.

Intricate buns. Make a bun and add interesting details such as the headpiece above. So glam and unexpected!

Twisted braids. Tired of the normal braid? Try this twisted braid look. Looks beachy and fun.

Side parted hair. I do this hairstyle everyday, so I guess I am right on trend! One of the most easiest hairstyles to do.

With the retro trend, 20's hairstyles are back in. I don't have the length of hair to pull it off but for those that can should at least try it once. It can be so glamorous with a fitted dress or an elegant gown. Adorn it with jewel hair accessories for an evening out.

If you have hair why not do a different hairstyle everyday? There are hundreds of hairstyles to try and some of them are quite easy and quick to do. For example, the first and third hairstyle probably only took 10 minutes to complete. Effortlessly chic! 2012 is all about easy, fun and chic hairstyles. Hairstyles that can take you from day to night. Why not try one of these tomorrow?! If you would like to try out Katy Perry's hairstyle you can visit GHD today!

What is your favorite 2012 hairstyle trend?

SAG Awards 2012

Favorites

Angelina Jolie

Whatever Angelina wears she looks breathtaking. Not too fond of the dress but she wears it so well.

Ariel Winter

Cute dress and I love the bead and lace detailing.

Lea Michele

Such a sexy gown! She looks stunning.

Natalie Portman

Natalie looks amazing after having a child. And the detailing at the chest is fun and unique.

Naya Rivera

Another sexy dress! The bead work is extraordinary.

Dislikes

Shailene Woods

This dress does nothing for her. Also it's a little old for her. I would like to see something a little sexier or age appropriate for her.

Zoe Saldana

To me it looks like she is wearing a tank top underneath that dress. Not flattering at all.

Mayim Bialik

I don't know where to begin with this dress. First off, the material kind of looks cheap and secondly it looks like a night gown. Not very attractive.

Busy Philipps

What is she wearing?? The print, color, and style is just...ahhh

Ashlee Simpson

Ashlee, let me give you a tip- wear a bra! Her breasts are sagging and the tulle just emphasizes it.

I didn't watch the SAG awards but I did check out the fashion for the award show. I wasn't too impressed with the fashion in the show but I did love certain gowns. My top favorite was Naya Rivera and least favorite was Buys Philipps (who names their child Busy anyways?).

What were your favorites and dislikes from the SAG awards?

Flutter those Lashes: LASHEM Double Trouble Mascara Review

LASHEM is a U.S based beauty brand dedicated to eye makeup & eye care products. The LASHEM brand was developed to help the everyday woman keep her youthful glow; it is a reflection of a healthy and natural lifestyle to accommodate everyone from the working woman to the stay at home mother. The brand combines natural ingredients for the highest quality made possible. The LASHEM product line consists of mascara, anti aging creams, and eyelash booster.

Product: LASHEM Double Trouble Mascara
Price: $19.99 for 6ml.

First Look at the Product:
The mascara comes in a black packaging box, Inside is an elegant sleek steel tube with volumizing mascara at one end and lengthening mascara at other. Both mascaras have been formulated separately whose ingredients are mentioned on the box.

My Experience with the Product:
This was my first time with a volumizing and lengthening mascara. Applying each of them together - each of them having separate formulations - It was all fascinating for me.
Volumizing mascara wand.

I first applied a volumizing mascara. The volumizing mascara wand is a rubberized wand which is pretty flexible and has very minute tiny bristles. The wand was effective in separating my lashes - It did not however add the "oomph factor - VOLUME" in it.

Lengthening mascara wand.
Next came the turn of lengthening mascara - the wand was the same regular wand that comes with the mascara. The dense bristles picks up good amount of product - thanks to the wand - I experienced clumping of the product on my lashes.

Using both the mascara together did add some amount of definition to my lashes.

Before using the mascara

After using the mascara - The mascara was successful in providing me little definition to my lashes.. that's it !

However - I did not see any "major" difference to my lashes when it came to volumizing factor. Also the mascara is not waterproof which made me a little disappointed.
Other than that - I would say it is a nice mascara if you want something which is perfect for everyday wear.

Luv it or chuck it ?
I will give this one a pass.

Please note: The product was sent by the company's PR for consideration.

Fashion Around the World Series: Hungary

Hungary wedding designer Lebar Barbara

This wedding gown is absolutely stunning. I won't give away what dress I got but it's no where near this shape or style but I absolutely love the beading and neckline.

Designer Klara Kalicz

The jewelry is absolutely amazing! I have never seen anything like it.

Model Eniko Mihalik

Looks like a fairytale! Love the headpiece.

What drew me to this outfit was the shoes. Such an interesting design and make such a statement.

The necklace is stunning and the dress matches perfectly with it.

Street Fashion

I love her boots! Boots are one thing I will miss wearing them when we move to Florida but I keep thinking of all the dresses I will be able to wear. :)

Street Fashion

Such a stunning outfit. Love the belt!

This week's fashion around the world series is on Hungary. I have always been fascinated about Hungary, maybe because it is so mysterious. I always love a place rich with history. The fashion in Hungary is amazing. Very structural and unique. The designers in Hungary design extraordinary collections that I have yet to see other pieces like it elsewhere.

What do you think of fashion in Hungary?

Today is my 25th birthday! This is what I wore. I had such a great day. I found a cute bright blue pencil skirt and a pair of flats while shopping today. After shopping we ate out at Red Lobster, one of my favorite restaurants! I also have an order coming in from ASOS with some money I got from my mom. :)
My fiancee got me a gift card for Victoria's Secret. He knows me so well! As you can tell I like wearing their clothing. ;) My dad also got me some gorgeous flowers!

The Nature's Co - Irish Moss Sugar Body Scrub.

I love using body scrubs. I have dry skin all over my body which I tend to ignore sometimes - Using sugar scrub at such times is a savior !! Sugar scrub are a treat for your body since they are mild and gentle than other scrubs. Sugar scrubs hydrate and repair your dry skin. Exfoliating with these scrubs improves circulation and leave your skin feeling pampered and luxurious.

Today I will be reviewing The Nature's Co - Irish Moss Sugar Body Scrub. This scrub belongs to their AquaSpark Range of products. You can buy Nature's Co. Products online HERE. They do ship internationally.

Product - The Nature's Co - Irish Moss Sugar Body Scrub.
Price & Quantity - 1295 INR for 200 ml.
Claims - -
For dry Skin
To get beautiful, glowing skin, all you have to do is scrub. Irish Moss Sugar Body Scrub contains Brown Sugar which is a natural exfoliant and is also rich in Irish Moss extract that has emollient, soothing & nourishing properties. In the shower or bath, spread the scrub over your entire body. Rub into skin to exfoliate and then rinse well. It will leave you feeling smooth all over and the refreshing fragrance of Irish Moss will linger on. Recommended usage -1 to 2 times a week.

First Look at the Product - -
The Irish Moss Sugar Scrub comes in a huge sturdy jar which has a blue screw cap. Inside there is yet another lid to prevent spillage of the product. The jar has a wide mouth which makes it easy to take the product for usage.

2My Experience with the Product - -
I have been using the product for month now and I absolutely luv it !!!
The product has a nice aqua smell - its like a sea breeze.. .  will instantly refresh you.
The sugar scrub granules are very small and minute which are perfect for everyday use. They are just perfect on your skin.
Regular usage of this scrub has made my skin radiant and bright. It has also helped me to prevent the growth of ingrown hair after waxing.
The quantity provided is so much - After using it for a month my tub is still half full !!
The scrub dulls away your dead skin and makes it smooth and soft to touch.
I luv the texture of the sugar scrub which is not coarse - it is not too runny - the granules are soaked in oil making the consistency a bit thick.

Luv it or Chuck it ?

LOVE IT !!! I will recommend this scrub to everyone who suffers from dry skin this winter... If you have sensitive skin - this product is perfectly mild and gentle for you !!

This dress is absolutely stunning. This is definitely made for the red carpet.

Another stunner. I love the high, low hem.

The animal print and high slit makes this gown ultra sexy.

This dress would be perfect for winter weddings. I love the faux fur shawl!

Another dress that would be perfect for the red carpet. I love the lace detailing at the shoulders.
