Polyvore Outfit of the Week- 40s Inspired

This week I am inspired by the 40s and the elegance of that era. The 40s is another hot trend this fall. To avoid looking like you came right out of that era wear a couple key pieces that reflect the 40's. Think frilly blouses, t-strap sandals, over-sized coats that cinch in at the waist and structured bags. And don't forget the red lipstick and pearls! Remember that during the 40s women took care of themselves so when you want to wear a 40s inspired look you have to take time investing in that look. Tailor your clothing so that they fit you and highlight your waist. Take the time to "do" your hair and apply that red lipstick. It may sound like a long process but at the end you will look absolutely fabulous!
